Online Quran Classes for Kids in Germany
What age can my child start?
From age 4. Ages 4–6 get shorter 15–20 minute play-based sessions; 7 and up typically move to 25–30 minute sessions.
We're not near Berlin, Cologne, or Frankfurt's Muslim community — does that matter?
Not at all. Most of our families outside Germany's major cities book us for exactly this reason. Your child gets the same Al-Azhar-trained teacher a family in Berlin would have access to, wherever you're based.
How is the price worked out?
There's no fixed package — you choose the number of sessions per week and the length of each one, and your price is built around that choice. Sibling discounts are available, and you'll see your exact plan and price before committing to anything.
Do you have female teachers for my daughter?
Yes. We have qualified female teachers (Hafidhat with Ijazah), and many parents specifically request one for their daughters.
My child doesn't speak Arabic at home — will that be a problem?
No — it's the normal starting point for most of our students in Germany, whatever language is spoken at home. We teach Arabic letter sounds phonetically, so your child doesn't need to understand Arabic to learn to read the Quran.
How is Alhamd Academy different from the freelance tutor listings I've seen online?
Every teacher is Al-Azhar-certified — a graduate of the world's most established Islamic university — not an unverified freelancer or a teenager offering lessons on the side. You can ask about your teacher's specific credentials before committing to anything.

Why Families Across Germany Choose Alhamd Academy
"We're not Arabic speakers at home — will our child actually manage?"
Yes. The Noor Al-Bayan method teaches through demonstration and repetition, not long verbal explanation, so it works for German-speaking, Turkish-speaking, or any other household. Your child learns to recognise and read Arabic sounds directly, without needing to understand Arabic — or needing you to.
"How do we know the teacher is actually qualified, not just someone's older sibling?"
Every teacher at Alhamd Academy is Al-Azhar-certified — graduates of the world's most established Islamic university, not freelance tutors picked from an open marketplace. You can ask about your teacher's credentials before your free trial even begins.
"We're already careful about how much time our child spends on a screen."
A 20–30 minute live video session with a real teacher correcting your child's recitation isn't comparable to passive screen time — it's closer to a music lesson. Most parents tell us it becomes the part of the week their child actually looks forward to.
"Do we need to speak English to book and communicate?"
Most of our booking, scheduling, and WhatsApp progress reports happen in English, and your child's lesson itself relies on demonstration rather than long verbal explanation, so a language gap rarely slows things down in practice. If you'd prefer a different language for messaging us, just let us know during your free trial and we'll do what we can to help.
- Germany's Muslim community is one of the most diverse in Europe — Turkish, Arab, Bosnian, Kurdish, Afghan, and convert families, among many others, call it home. For many of these families, the obstacle to Quran education isn't willingness, it's access: a qualified children's teacher within reach, at a time that fits around German school hours, homework, and the rest of the week.
- The Noor Al-Bayan method our teachers use was built precisely for children who don't speak Arabic at home, which describes most families we work with — whether German, Turkish, Bosnian, or another language is spoken at home. Rather than requiring Arabic comprehension first, it teaches letter and sound recognition directly, the same way any child learns to read a new alphabet, through demonstration and repetition rather than long verbal explanation.
- Many parents searching online for a Quran tutor in Germany find open marketplaces listing uncertified, sometimes very young freelancers. Every teacher at Alhamd Academy is Al-Azhar-certified — a real, verifiable credential from the world's most established Islamic university — which matters for a subject where correct pronunciation and understanding genuinely shape how a child comes to know their faith.
How We Teach Children With No Arabic Background
- Germany's Muslim community is large and wonderfully diverse — Turkish, Arab, Bosnian, Kurdish, Afghan, and convert families among many others. Many households don't speak Arabic at home at all, whatever their heritage language is, and a qualified children's Quran teacher within reach can be hard to find outside the biggest cities.
- Alhamd Academy gives your child a private, one-to-one teacher instead, at a time that fits around school, homework, and the rest of the week — not a single fixed slot shared with a full weekend class.
- This is built to complement your local mosque or Quran school, not replace it. Many of our German families use us for focused, one-to-one reading and Tajweed correction alongside their child's regular weekend attendance, so the two reinforce each other rather than compete for the same hour.
- Our Noor Al-Bayan phonetic method was built precisely for children who don't speak Arabic at home — it teaches letter and sound recognition through demonstration and repetition, not long verbal explanation, so it works regardless of whether German, Turkish, or any other language is spoken at home.
- Every teacher is Al-Azhar-certified, not a freelance tutor picked from an open marketplace — a meaningful difference for parents who have seen listings for teenage, uncertified tutors online. Pricing is flexible, not a fixed package: you choose the number of sessions a week and how long each one runs, and you'll see your exact plan and price before committing to anything.

I was really nervous about online Quran learning at first, but the teachers put me at ease right away. Best decision I've made.

Is This the Right Fit for Your Family?

- After every single class, you receive a WhatsApp message summarising what was covered, how your child performed, and what to practise before the next session — so you stay informed without needing to sit in on every class yourself.
